skypilot,

I would go to a wide open area (think parking lot) to make sure there's absolutely no chance of something blocking your signal. What you're saying is consistent for a blockage to the lower right hand side of your LOS. 110 is plenty strong, 119 drops drastically and 129 seems non-existent.

If you're still having the issues in a wide open area, then you may have an alignment issue as eluded to by Bill. If not, then you just had a bad line of sight.

Well I'm back to re post same problem, after moving my RV to a different location on my property, except the first time I brought the dish out of park (in the new location) I received all three sat's with a 65 + reception power. Watched HD TV for about 3 hrs, before I shut down I checked the power again with the same result 65+, parked the Trav'ler; the next day re-scaned this time and the five more times I tried gave me the same results sat 110 = 54 119 = 48 129 = 13. Have any Ideas??

In between the fluctuation of signal, did you stow the antenna and research or was it up the whole time?

Thanks for the quick response. The five times all were at stow position at start-up. I've got a clear southerly view at the new parking place. The other thing that has me woundering is when in calculation mode the base of the turntable is locked with no manule movement, but when locked on sat's there is about one quarter of an inch movement. Is there a brake on the turntable?? Thanks Louie

Problem fixed----OE (operator Error) my wife likes that one. The fix was to open my eyes and notice that the signal on the screen in setup was for 129 spotbeam transponder 13 (default setting) this transponder was for the east coast and not west. By changing to transponder 18 which is not a spot beam and up gave a 55 + signal  Hope this will help. I Would like to thank Bill and Winegard Tech for there support in this matter. No more hair pulling Louie
