Are they compatable? If so Set up instructions?

I have had no luck. I can get things to work with a different reciever.

The H25 and HR34 receivers from DirecTV are not directly compatible. I recommend using a different receiver (non-SWM) for use with the Carryout. The SWM receivers do not output any voltage to power the LNB like a standard receiver would.
If you would like to use the Carryout with a SWM receiver, it is possible but you must install some hardware between the Carryout and the receiver. You can find the information on setting up any of the Winegard antennas to operate with a SWM receiver here:

(I still recommend using another receiver!)

It is a d12-700 receiver. Made sure it was on multi switch tried both 3lnb settings. Is there a different receiver you would recommend? Would I just change the access card over to the new one?

The D12 should work fine, but you cannot use any SWM setting. Try using the 18" round setting in the receiver. As you go through the Repeat Satellite Setup routine make the antenna selection and then in the bottom right click on Signal Strength and then Signal Meter. Verify that the information is showing 101 and transponder 1. Now power up the antenna with your 12V source and let it lock on. You will then need to continue all the way through the rest of the setup routine all the way to the end where it says Watch DirecTV.

I have gone through every set up process possible. No Luck. I guess I will go back to the basics. Hooking up the components. Is there an inline filter needed from Direct Tv. I have one. And tried with and with out it.

Not locking on to satellite. Could it be a Reciever power out issue? I will try a different one same model number out of a different bedroom.

Sorry but this is very frustrating for a $700 piece of automated equipment.
