HD8200U HDTV and FM

Postby ranger » Sat Sep 29, 2012 5:53 pm

I am in zip 75495 my tower will be 30ft tall, the TV stations towers are about 65 miles away (Dallas , Ft. Worth Texas). My antenna tower will be about 225 ft from the tv's (4 total). the fm radio will be about the same but different location. what amp would work best for me? i assume that a single coax will carry bother the tv and fm signal. how do i split the coax feed to both the tv and the fm radio.

Many thanks for your help and great website

Good luck. You will get 3 main stations. The loss you will have with the cable and splitter will be be close to 20 dB using RG6 cable and a 4 way splitter. You will need an AP-8725 preamp on the antenna.
