Replacing/Connecting SensarPro With SB-2000

Postby bobdinsmore » Mon Sep 24, 2012 4:02 pm

I currently have an SB-2000 and want to install the SensarPro. The SB-2000 has only four connections not the six shown in the SensarPro directions:
- 12V
- Ground
- Antenna In
- Output To Set (this Output goes to an AudioVox Video Selector AVCC-100)

The current coax connections on the AVCC are (there is no 12V connection):
- ANT IN (from the SB-2000)
- CABLE IN (does not go through any amplifier)
- FROM VCR
- TO FRONT TV
- TO REAR TV
- TO VCR

How do I hook up the SensarPro? Do I continue to use the SB-2000?

Thank you,
Bob Dinsmore

Bob,

The SensarPro will serve as the power supply for the antenna so the SB-2000 will no longer be required. The SensarPro will need to tie into your 12V system and then you will run from the SensarPro to the AudioVox. You'll need to make sure the AudioVox does not output 12V to the antenna jack as you do not want to send 12V to the SensarPro.
