I arrived in A Caravan in north West Queensland yesterday and to my horrow NO reception was received on my RV6000!...OH NO!!!..Luckily I was able to set up my Satellite dish! THAT calmed the boss down whilst I tried to sort out the problem..
The chap next to me was a great help (I think!?)
He said he had encountered the same problem with his antenae... (What goes on her??)
He spoke to someone else who had a friend who had mate etc etc...you know how it goes??
Anyway he h "borrowed a "jack antennae" and fitted it up in place of his winegard. PRESTO!...NO further adjustments were made and he immediately accessed the full 27 cigital stations that are available in this area.
By the look of this uynit it appeatrs to be made especially for the winegard? DOES winegard actually make it and if so at what cost to us opor travellers who keep them in Bread & Butter..
Time you helped us out here wingard!!! this "jack" thingy is only 30 % the size of my original unit and uses all the standard fitting to attach it to the mast and coax etc.. On top of that I belief it has somewjere double the gain of the original unit.
PLEASE ASVISE as I want to replace or improve mine....PLEASE!
