2nd reciever wont work

I cannot get my 2nd reciever to work. I swap it with the other reciever and works fine. The tv in front room work great. I made every possible change to both recievers and inputs, cables connections. When hookes up to the second output from my gm-1518 i get no signal

Are these Dish or DirecTV receivers? What specific model numbers? Are you running 2 completely separate cables from the Carryout directly to each receivers antenna input?
Any additional info?

You will need to connect each receiver (one at a time) to the coax that comes from the "Main" connection on the Carryout and perform the check switch routine. Once one is done and you have a successful SW64 switch showing you can put the second receiver on the coax and start again. Once both receivers are showing a good check switch they should both work at either location. You do have to ensure that both receivers are trying to watch programming on the same satellite since the antenna can only "see" one satellite at a time. To test, set them both to the exact same channel. If one receiver is looking for programming on the 119 and another is looking for programming on the 129 you will not be successful. The first receiver will be able to view anything you choose but the second receiver will be a slave to the first and can only view those channels that are available on the same satellite.

Things are amasing. The last 2 days I could not get the 2bd reciever to work. By the grace of God, I trun the system on the morning and , guess, everything works great. I never understand it. I did nothing different today than I did the last 2 days. I guess it one of the things.
