In-Line AmpHi, I have a GM-0700. The unit puts out a weak signal, would a in-line amp help for signal strength? Thanks Dale.
Re: In-Line AmpDale,
Typically with a satellite system weak signal cannot be overcome with an in-line amp. I would check the skew of your system and maybe play around with that a little to see if you can get better signal. Just to check, are you able to get programming or not at all?
Re: In-Line AmpThanks. We are getting programming but do lose it in bad weather and that is when we like to make use of the satellite, by going into the 5th wheel and watching tv. Our signal strength is about 45.
Re: In-Line AmpDale,
I would check that skew to see if you can get a bit higher signal as that's how the antenna peaks. Adjust it slightly one way or another, research and see if you read higher on the signal. Other than that, the only thing that would cause this could be a possible line of sight issue. The antenna is getting enough signal to lock, we know that much.
