no signal on carry around winegard with directtv

i have a winegard automatic carry around i use with my rv. i have tried 3 locations and at home recently and cannot get a signal. signal strength on transponders is good to excellent on all transponders except 2, 4, 12 and 20. i get no picture at all. i use direct tv. have called them and tried many trouble shooting exercises. what could be or is the problem? thanks, mike

This sounds like a standard working system with the exception of transponder 2 - we should have this all the time with DirecTV.

The problem, however, is that the LNB does not differentiate between one even transponder and another. If we get one even transponder anywhere on that screen, then the even side of the LNB is functioning correctly. In this case I would believe it to be the case.

Do you happen to have another compatible DirecTV receiver you can hook up and test with?
