hd 8800 converted to hd 4400 vertical array

i would like to test the behavior of two hd 4400 placed in vertical array and im going to disassemble an hd 8800 and reassemble in a vertical array could you please help me in any way (hints, expected gain, distance between the antennas if im trying to keep the actual frequency of the 8800)

This link is about the author doing something similar, taking 2 eight-bays and stacking them over each other. The concerns he raises would be the same as you would encounter by stacking 2 four-bays.
