Re: MV3500T and H25 receiverOkay on the splitter. Anyone know if i can put the SWM8 under the dome? It appears there is space for it that will not interfere with the mechanism. What about electrical interference?
Re: MV3500T and H25 receiversadrian,
I doubt we've tested that scenario. Let me check with engineering and get back to you. Unfortunately, that won't be until tomorrow morning at the earliest.
Re: MV3500T and H25 receiversadrian,
After consulting with engineering this is something that we wouldn't recommend. You would have to build coax pigtails to run through the heycos on the base of the unit and that would involve either cutting or terminating the existing coax, not to mention that we would have to likely drill holes in the base of the antenna to mount the SWM8 switch. Also, there could possibly be clearance issues on if the antenna would hit the SWM8 switch or not. It is rated for outdoor use so we recommend mounting it right on the outside of the antenna.
Re: MV3500T and H25 receiverOkay. Thank you for checking with engineering. I will mount it outside the dome. Really appreciate all the help and guidance. Great information.
