Seriously, is anyone working at Winegard?

I've called Customer Service and Technical Service for the past couple of weeks now, even sent emails, and never once anyone answered the phone or responded back. It's always "experiencing high call volume..blah blah, really?" or answering machine taking vm. If you buy their product and run into issues, there's almost no chance of talking to a human being and getting your issues resolved.

I had bad customer experience with other companies but Winegard top the most user-customer unfriendly experience I've had to date. Ridiculous.

Welcome to the forum. I am sorry to hear that you are having problems getting in contact with Winegard Technical Support. Is there anything that we can help you with here?

As I said for javelin, we'd be glad to help you. If you're calling in, there is going to be a delay in returning the call. This is our busiest time of the year and we're working very hard to try to get back with customers as soon as we can.

You can either try to troubleshoot on our forums or email help@winegard.com for a faster response.

Hi Bill. It's almost funny that I'd get faster response time from a forum than a response to a call to customer service and tech support.

I called Customer Service in the past couple of weeks, I don't remember how many times now, trying to get more information on the FL-5000C. Since I wasn't getting any luck with customer service, I tried calling tech support...darn same thing, leave a message(I did several times). I quit calling after awhile. Then tried the forum.

I wanted to purchase FL-5000 online but called customer service to see if there was a way to get the FL-5000C instead since there was no option for the FL-5000C online.

Javelin,

The FL5000C is a CostCo exclusive and must be purchased through CostCo. You can order the FL-5000 itself from us, but not the FL5000C.

Thanks for the info. That's all I needed to know. From how things looks here, it seems like the forum is where you'd expect answer. Forget the phone, it's totally unmanned.
