I bought a used RV with The RM-8000 Satalite Dish. I am using a Direct TV Standard Receiver. In the set-up mode which type of Dish do I select? I have been told 18" ROUND multi- switch is this correct. My dish cannot find satalite, so I want to start their and make sure this is correct.

You are using the correct settings for DirecTV receivers. Make sure you are not using receiver model number H25 or HR25. If you are using any other receiver with those settings and the antenna is not acquiring a signal, it's possible it is defective as it is an obsolete unit, but you could contact technical service at 800-788-4417 for further troubleshooting.
