RM-DM46 needs EL recalibration

White button units calibrate by raising the dish to plumb and then moving the sensor in its mounting to try and get it to read 24 in this position.

That's what I figured.
I tried last night and could not get enough range in the mount to move it far enough.
Guess I'll need to raise the disk to plumb, check the readout and determine the correction factor I need to use when pointing. Unless of course you think it is a degrading el sensor that needs to be replaced.
I am not sure if my unit is still in warranty or not.
How much would aa replacement EL sensor run $$$?

Tried to physically adjust the EL sensor again last night.
I was able to adjust it enough to get the correct reading of 24 degrees with the dish plumb BUT, I had to adjust it so far, I could not remount the DISH!
Guess I will be using the "correction factor' method I described above.
Have you guys seen this type of issue before with thhe EL sensor?

Every once in a while we see a sensor that gets 'stuck' and needs to be replaced.

Its rare but it does happen.

What part number should I use to order a replacement sensor?
Can I get a replacement through Winegard or do I need to go to a reatiler like CampingWorld?
