Good morning Jeffrey,

Winegard suggests that you use the MS-1000 non amplified omni directional antenna with a HDP-269 preamplifier. The HDP-269 preamplifier has 12dB of gain and a higher input level than the built in amplifier of the MS-2000/2002 antenna. The HDP-269 should prevent you from overloading your TV sets with too strong of a signal that the 18dB of gain from the MS-2000/2002 could provide.
