Antenna feels loose, will rock around when I wiggle it. Is there a nut on housing or shaft that will tighten it up

If you remove the crank handle and the rotational dial you will see a hole that leads up to the roof. At the very top of that hole is a 15/15" nut which you either need a special tool or a long thin walled socket. You can gently tighten this nut to a point where the wobbling stops but not so tight that it will no longer turn. It's a very small difference between correct, too tight and too loose.

I took handle off and looked up, I saw no nut and a 15/16 I would think would be hard to miss.
Someone has had handle off before and the spring was in the wrong place and handle was loose.
I wonder if they did not put nut back on, there is also supposed to be washer on the spring but it is missing.
without nut should be able to pull antenna out from top? Will check. THANK YOU

The nut can be hard to see. It's an opaque plastic nut and if it were missing the entire unit would lift right off.

Good afternoon, I have a 2005 cougar 5th wheel with a rv-6004 antenna that is damaged. I was wondering what you would recommend as an economical replacement? Thanks for your help! Happy Easter

The Winegard Sensar antenna is still the best antenna on the market especially for the new and flaky UHF signals. Depending upon what's damaged the repairs could be quite inexpensive. Could you tell us more about what happened and/or if you know what damage was done?
