Re: Welcome - Mobile / RV DiscussionReceived my 2-HD222K receivers today and attempted to get set-up. Went thru the procedure as I was told by Kathy from Winegard. Hooked up 1st receiver on primary tv. Went thru set-up, switch test and downloaded all programs. Moved receiver to secondary location. Did same set-up with next receiver and left it in primary location. After getting both set-up, I have all channels in living room(primary receiver) but limited in bedroom(secondary). Can I use my bedroom receiver and get any channel on any satellite as long as the primary TV is off? Can not get locals at all on secondary receiver.. Even if I parallel each TV to where they are on the same channel I can not get everything on 2nd TV as I get on primary. HELP!!! Steve
Re: Welcome - Mobile / RV Discussionsdagro,
Just to clarify, you are using two Dish Network 222K receivers? Also, what is the model number or type of system you are using? And if you can, let me know how everything in your system is wired.
Re: Welcome - Mobile / RV DiscussionSince you mention in your other post that you are using a Carryout antenna with the Dish Network service and 2 receivers you are going to have several restrictions. The first is that you can only use one input to each receiver taking some of the 222 resources away. You will run the primary coax to the receiver which you want to control which satellite is selected and the 2nd receiver will only be able to watch programming from the satellite selected by the primary receiver. Even with the primary receiver off, the 2nd receiver cannot control the Carryout. The primary receiver will be able to watch/record the programming of choice while the 2nd receiver will be a slave to the primary receivers satellite selection.

Re: Welcome - Mobile / RV DiscussionI'm leaving home base in a few days and can't get an answer to:
What is the best way to store the dome 1518 when traveling? Can it be hung on the RV/trailer wall by the bracket on the base or will it be effected by the road vibrations and bumps? Maybe I posted it in the wrong place? Anyway, I left my phone number on the Winegard tec answering phone and hope someone will get back with me before I leave....any suggestions?
Re: Welcome - Mobile / RV DiscussionI am not sure what Winegard will say, but this is NOT a way that I would recommend storing the Carryout. I don't have a valid reason for this other than the constant movement that hanging would create as well as the possible banging on the wall should it not be fully secured.
I (me, personally) would recommend traveling with the Carryout sitting upright on most any horizontal surface. Bill
