Antenna Recommendation for 44460

Postby jeffj28 » Thu Oct 20, 2011 4:07 pm

I am going to install a HDTV home antenna here about 2 miles South East of 44460. I am planning to use
a 30 foot tower with an antenna rotator. The signal will be feeding 2 televisions which are about 40 feet
from the antenna. There is a strong FM station at 105.1 MHZ (WQXK at 88,000 watts) located about 1 mile North of my location. Most of the TV channels in the area are UHF but there are a couple of distant High Band VHF channels that I would also like to receive .
What antenna system do you suggest for my location?

Thanks for your assistance,

Jeff

Good morning jeffj28 -

The HD7697P would your best antenna choice, along with an HDP-269 preamplifier should give you enough signal to power your two TV sets. Your distant signals are a 1 Edge and 2 Edge signal meaning that these signal are hard to receive and may not be consistent in there reception.
