can you use a swm lna with the 3005 It would save having to only run one wire into the rv instead of 4. also could you use the new 3lnb swm getting only 101,99,and 103

Neither of these LNBF's will work with the SK-3005.

You can use the 8 way switch to split the signal after the coax leaves the TRAV'LER.

Is there going to be and upgrade in the near future to the sk 3005 to use the new SWM LNB

No, since the current LNB will work with DIRECTV's 8 way switch and there is not much demand for a single wire solution for multiple receivers.
