Trav'ler Installed first search

I have replaced my old AS-2003 with the new Trav'ler and everything seems in order.I have Dish TV. On my first search the Trav'ler found sat 110, 119, 129 an locked on these and displays the sat numbers on the control box screen. After running check switch I get a message on the Disk screen that says unknown devise and no sat signal. If the sat number are shown on the control bax switch does this confirm that the Trav'ler found the sat's and locked on them?

Well, I can answer my own question. If the control box shows satellites 110. 119, 129 then the Trav'ler has locked on these satellites and and you ready to watch TV. BUT, first you need to make sure that you have the coax cable connected at the dish on the roof and that you have the coax cable connected to your Dish receiver correctly. I failed on both of these. Once I made these two important connections then it worked just fine. The Trav'ler is up and running and puts on a show as it finds the satellites and then adjusts the "skew" angle. My neighbor said it looks like something from NASA. Thanks

I am glad you found your answer.

That is one of the things I really enjoy about the TRAV'LER, it will lock on with or without a receiver. Doing this and then reporting which satellites it has found helps to narrow down the search for problems.
