SensarPro Question

Postby rwwhite47 » Mon Jun 13, 2011 9:00 am

Just installed a new SensarPro in my RV. Initially, I used it as a replacement for the existing wallplate, but the signal strength wasn't improved. I tried running the wallplate output to the SensarPro input and that gave me a better signal without overloading the SensarPro's amplifier. In cases where it might, I can always reduce the gain. My question is in regard to the USB connector on the SensarPro circuit board. I assume that it is used to program the unit at the factory. What other current uses might it have now or in the future?

Thanks

You are correct that the USB is used to program it here at the Factory. Currently it has no other use, however if we did a software change or added features later, that would provide a way for customers to upgrade existing units.
