The system locks onto 107 after peaking but I am not getting a signal the receiver light is red, I go into installation settings and am not getting signal. I have it on Manual *107 because I don't have HD. Is there a way of manually peaking unit ?

There is not a manual peaking option. Have you tried using the default setting allowing it to lock onto both satellites and see if all works well? Is there a * in front of the 107 after completion?

I have used the default setting and it did not work, yes there is an asterisk in front of the 107.

Sorry to sound picky in asking the question, but when you say it didn't work do you mean the Winegard would not lock onto both 107 and 111 or that even with the Winegard properly locked your receiver is still not working?
Can you run a cable from one of the roof base coax connections directly to the receiver to determine if you have a cabling issue?

No problem, It went to the dual setup on install and 107-111 both had the* but no signal, I have used 2 different cables one going right to the LNB to the receiver.

Be sure that you run the new cable from the base of the Trav'ler to the back of the receiver. With this done and you still have no signal I suspect the issue is with the receiver. Is this a unit from home connected to the exact same type antenna? If so, does the receiver work there?
I am not familiar with the SC receiver so is there a reset function or anything similar to the check switch routine required with Dish Network? Can you select the 107 satellite in the setup menu and see the various transponders? Winegard tech. support will be open come Monday if you want some better info on related to the receiver. Is this unit a complete Winegard system (SK-7002 plus the SK-722) or the Winegard base with your attached antenna/LNB? Trying to think of other questions so if you are not completely bored, let me know more.

Bill

I will be calling them Monday, just thought I would try the forum, I have tried the house receiver and another one not yet auth. I don't have the receiver options. The reset is just unplugging for a minute or so. Many thanks for your assistance.

Please post your results after talking to tech. I remember doing an SK-7002 install and there was a signal meter available (sat a and sat b or something like that) but I don't remember any of the details.

Yes you can go into the install of the receiver and get a signal meter and beep. I don't get a signal. I also have a inline signal meter which works well if you are installing a home dish.
