MS 2000 lost UHF?

Postby resoof » Sat May 21, 2011 9:28 am

I woke up this morning to find that I had my VHF channels but not my UHF channels. After reading through some post I see that a few have lost VHF and that one thing to check is the power supply. So I have checked the power supply and it is putting out 27.3 vDC and its supposed to only be putting out 18 vDC. Has my power supply gone bad and fried my antenna?

By the way i live in NW Arkansas and i can get channels 5 and 13 but nothing else.

The 27.3 VDC should be regulated to +14.3-+15.3 VDC coming out of the power injector connection marked ANT. Please visit http://www.winegard.com/videos/index.php and watch the video Troubleshooting a Winegard Power Supply. This video will show the proper voltages you should have at each location in your system. If your voltages are correct then your antenna amplifier has failed and you can send an email to warranty@winegard.com requesting an RMA number to return your antenna under and they repair or replace the MS-2000 to you.
