No Signal

I recently purchased the Winegard MP1 to use on my RV with Diredt TV Box. I cannot get any dignal does anyone have any suggestions to get the MP1 satellite activated. All suggestions/experience in solving this problem is apprecitaed. Please give me your feed back ASAp. Thanks, Bill

Good morning Bill,

There are several issues which could be causing a problem.

First, confirm that your receiver settings are correct. This is the number one problem experienced when setting up a mobile dish and using a new receiver or a receiver from your home. Confirm that your dish type is 18" Round Dish (with no degrees after it), and the switch type should be multiswitch.

After that is correctly set you must find the signal by pointing the MP1. If you need help in acquiring signal I would recommend calling Winegard Technical Services at 800-788-4417.
