Antenna Recommendation...

I been reading a lot of information online, I need to get a new antenna, I'm using an old RS VU-75XR and I also used the Terk HDTVo, but I only get one channel. (I don't know what happen but the first time I used the RS I got 4 channels, now I'm down to one).

I used your antenna selector, it suggest the 7697, 7698 or 8200, but those are to big. My problem is that I live in an apartment complex and there's some restrictions; I got away with my small antenna but I'm sure it will be a problem with anything bigger.

My question is this: Do you think a 7694p will work??? according to spec is good up to 45miles (but I read somewhere that is up to 50 miles), I'm 46.7 and I'm almost in the border of blue and purple zone. Antenna will be installed 25' above ground level and I can get away with the size, it will be used for one TV only, cable is around 30'. According to TVfool and FCC most signals are weak (here is the address 1525 E Lynwood Dr, San Bernardino CA 92404). There's no trees, buildings or any obstruction (just the mountains between towers and complex. I don't know if has any effect or not, but there's a cellphone antenna next to the building).

Here we go, try this. Sorry I posted from another post before.

Being 45-50 miles from the TV stations and with mountains between your antenna the TV towers the HD7694P antenna most likely will not give you a strong enough signal. You will need to use at least a HD7697P or HD7698P antenna with an AP-8700 preamplifier. The biggest issue is that in order to receive a good strong signal at 45-50 miles out in the open the TV antenna needs to be at least 40 feet high. At 25 feet high and with a small antenna you results are going to be marginal at best.
