RC-1010 not working

Postby wilspin » Mon May 03, 2010 8:08 pm

I purchased this unit to upgrade a CM 7000 as it did not output HD format to my non digital HD TV. I get 30 channels. I also have a DTV ready Samsung 32” TV that works well too. The RC -1010 is not watchable on any channel as there is no sound and picture is still or breaking up even on 100% signal channels. What is wrong here?

I would recommend calling our Technical Service Department and they can make sure it is setup properly. If it is setup properly and determined to be defective, they can also provide you with your options.

Tech Service: 1-800-788-4417

Thanks.

No need for that support call. I have discovered that the Winegard device does not like my distribution amplifier. I have put a passive splitter in place and it works well now.

Thanks

Is there anyway you can call us and get a return authorization.

We have not seen that before and want to test your unit to see what is happening.

1-800-788-4417 for a Return Authorization.

Sorry I have left this too long. I did not want to send the unit back as I lose a prime TV. If I wait an hour or so the problem clears up. If I power the unit off then it starts again when turned on. So i just leave it on 24/7.
