Sensar Wingman Clearance

Postby FSL » Thu Mar 26, 2009 5:03 pm

I have five and three quarters inches of clearance bewteen my Winegard Sensar antenna and my roof mounted anwing. Clearly this is not enough space to intall your new Sensar Wingman (requires at least 16.5 inches) when the antenna is in the retracted position. My question is can I intall it as a temp solution when we are at a site for a protracted stay? How easy are the four screws to take out and put back multiple times? Would you recommend this approach or say its not worth it?

Actually, the Wingman only extends 9" from the edge of your Sensar antenna but in your case its still too much.

The Push Rivets are designed for easy removal with a Phillips screwdriver. You can test this by pushing the rivets into just the Wingman and them removing them. If you are comfortable with the removal then your plan shoudl work.
