This somewhat depends on the package you purchase.

DIRECTV
Choice: 35+
Choice XTRA: 40+
Choice Ultimate: 45+
Premier: 85+

DISH
AT 120: 70+
AT 200: 85+
AT 250: 95+

Both say it slightly different. DISH claims to have the most HD channels and from these numbers that looks to be correct. However, DIRECTV has the most "full-time" HD channels. DIRECTV has also started touting over 200 HD channel availability but I have not seen that list yet.
