DIRECTV OR DISH NETWORK???

I am going to buy a winegard carryout GM-1518, I have done my research. I currently have directv, I realize that this model is factory set for direct but does it pick one or the other up better as far as finding the sattellite? And I'd love to hear feed back from other GM-1518 owners, Thanks

The Carryout GM-1518 will pick up both the DISH Network and DIRECTV signals equally well. My suggestion would come down to how important HD quality is to you. Domed systems (like the GM-1518) are unable to pick-up the DIRECTV HD satellites, while they are able to receive DISH Network HD.
