Visual difference between SS-2000 and SS-1000

Postby Lee » Thu Sep 10, 2009 12:10 am

Hi,
I bought SS-2000 antenna from an on-line dealer last week, but the atenna arrived with two parts missing, the power supply for the built in amplifier and the power injecter. The dealer said they would ship the missing part ASAP, but how do I know if I really received SS-2000, not SS-1000? Today I opened the plastic cover where the coax connecter is and found a small PCB inside, but I couldn't open the antenna case itself. The box says it's SS-2000 model, but I'm getting worried because it should include those missing parts in the box if it's really a SS-2000 model. As far as I knwo SS-2000 and SS-1000 are visually identical. Is there other ways to find out? Without the built in amplifier inside, the power supply I will be getting will be useless or it might damage the antenna.

The SS-1000 has a sticker on the BOTTOM of the antenna that says Non-Amplified. The SS-2000 has no sticker.
