Very puzzling Wingman and tuner issue in an RV

Hi.
My parents have a fifth-wheel RV with two TVs in it. Since the final DTV switchover, their reception at their favorite campground has dropped from what it was. Both TVs could still get reception, but it's been much more spotty and on certain days almost unusable.

So, for my dad's birthday, I got him a Winegard Wingman to add to their existing Winegard antenna and try to boost the gain. Last night we installed it, and it plugged on easily and quickly, but we're getting some very puzzling behavior from the tuners inside.

The "downstairs" main TV is an HDTV that is old enough that it didn't come with an inbuilt tuner. I bought them a Samsung HD tuner for that last summer and that's been working very well up until now.
The "upstairs" bedroom TV is an old analog set with one of the popular digital-to-analog tuner boxes plugged into that. The switch for the antenna booster is also "upstairs".

After we put the Wingman on last night, the bedroom TV's tuner did very well... it picked up some extra channels they didn't have before and the ones they did have got stronger.
The puzzling thing is that the downstairs main TV has lost everything. No matter where we point the antenna, we get zero on the signal meter on any channel. And I must have autoscanned in 20 different antenna positions last night... it couldn't find a &!*# thing.

And I tried disconnecting the upstairs TV and trying the downstairs one again... and I rebooted the downstairs tuner several times... and I turned the booster on and off several times... and all of these in every combination I could think of.... still nothing.

What the heck is going on? Why has the Wingman apparently improved one TV's tuner but completely cut off the tuner for the other one?

Good morning Steve -

Just to clear up what could be happening, let me 100% say that the Wingman will not cause you to lose signal like that, their has to be another issue. The Wingman as you saw when you installed it has no electronics and does not affect the internal works of the Sensar in any way. It's only job is to direct more of the UHF signal into the UHF antenna on the Sensar... which it does a great job of doing.

Is their anything else that has changed in your setup? Like Antenna Vision said it could be a bad coax, splitter, tuner or something else in the loop. I would just start checking at each point taking things out of the loop until you find what it is.
