Australia antenna selection

Postby TBuTcher » Sun Jul 12, 2009 11:34 pm

Hi,
I would like to purchase a Winegard antenna. but I live in the Southern Hemisphere Australia.
I would like a RM-DM61 crankup but am unsure if it will work on the satellites I want to connect to.
The Satellite is the Optus D2
Satellite: 152.0E Optus D2
Elevation: 57.9°
Azimuth (true): 357.8°
Azimuth (magn.): 346.6°

My setup according to dishpointer.com is
Elevation: 57.9°
Azimuth (true): 357.8°
Azimuth (magn.): 346.6°
LNB Skew: -2.0°

To me the only problem Im going to have is the SKEW... or can you see any other problems?
I would rather a fully auto setup but I do not think that any of the models have a skew option.

Also do you know if it is possible to increase the dish size? I really should have a 30" dish not a 18" to get good reception across Australia.

Hope someone can help with my problem.
