i have a winegard amplified antenna that works great for regular analog channels but when i got a converter box the picture on my 1999 regular tv looks like it is scrambled. i thought that the first converter box was bad so i got another one same problem. so i went on the roof, cleaned and checked the connections at the antenna head same problem. any ideas?
the model is RV 2001 batwing in our rv that is 94404 zip code but i have tried this in other locations and had the same results the tv works fine in antenna and when i turn the amplifier on and off i see a difference so i dont know if there is problem in the connections somewhere or do i need another amplifier?
when i hook up a converter box the picture is scrambled bad on tv1 and on tv2 the picture is better but still has a distortion that starts on the bottom of the screen and moves to the top thanks
After discussing your situation with a technical service rep we would recommend calling in for service. We have a wide variety of other variables that need to be factored in and that can be addressed much easier by phone.

Well, I also have bad reception, on my motorhome unit. It's a 'Road Trip' stationary, and I don't understand it. My reception was fine until one of the two black 'antennae' broke. There are two of these, one on each side, on top, in front. I did'nt know they were even part of the winegard system, but must be. Any advice appreciated.
The RoadTrip stationary doesn't use any exterior antennas. I am not sure what is happening but those antenna are not part of the system.
It might be a good idea for you to call our tech support people.
