20 year old antenna

I searched for an answer, but didn't find one. So being I'm new here, please forgive me if this has been posted some where..

I have and old Winegard crank up model.. I had purchased a Winegard Wingman. I went to put it on, and it does not fit this older model.. after thinking about it and looking at the old one, I decided I most likely need to upgrade.. So I purchased a new Sensar III Model 2200 head with the amp.. Ok here is my question..

after reading the Model 2200 Manual, it talks about a power supply (PS-9037) 12vDC.. I already have a Amp built into the wall, ( And was working fine with the old analog signals) however this amp is powered by AC.. It does not work off the Battery power, it only works when I have the RV Plugged into an AC outlet.. And being that the amp is probably as old as the antenna just got me to wondering.. Will this old amp work ok with this new 2200 head??? or do I need to install the ps-9037 amp in it's place to make everything work correctly.. I just don't want to damage anything by using AC.. also If I'm reading correctly if I have to change the Amp, then does it have to be hooked up to DC power only??? Just want to be sure I do it right..

As long as you have a power supply in your RV that was running the older antenna and not an amplifier. You are fine using the old one. Not much has changed.

The GM-2200 is designed for installation on houses. The PS-9037 converts 110V to 12VDC and sends it up the coax to the GM-2200.

Your old antenna most likely sends 12VDC from the RV up the coax to the antenna.

You should be fine with either power supply for either antenna.

One thing to point out. Even if you have an amplifier (doubtful) instead of a power supply, you won't damage anything. It just won't work.
