No signal

Postby Richard Benoit » Fri Jul 24, 2009 4:17 pm

We have Winegard C3090 Sensar antenna on our RV. Never had any trouble getting a picture at this location before the Digital switch. We have purchased a Vizio 22" HD TV. Also ordered a Wingman and received it today. We still are unable to pick any siginal up.

Our zip code is 42411. Sure would like some help on this matter. Pulling our hair out. Thanks.

Good morning Richard -

Your zip code show you are approximately 50 miles from the TV stations. The digital signal is harder to receive than the analog signal was in the past and your area seems to have other reception issues from obstacles, hills, etc. If we do not have a strong enough digital signal we will not receive a picture where as in the past with analog we could have a weak signal but still see a grainy picture. In your case I do not believe there is anything wrong with your antenna system other than your incoming signal is just too weak.

I assume that you have done a digital channel scan on the TV set so that it can find the digital channels in the area?
