just curious i have the old style antenna 1999 batwing ...i wonder if that makes tv today digitalize or not most of the time i clear ...sometimes it digitalizes ...any idea

As long as TV has existed it has been broadcast on the UHF an VHF frequencies and it still is today. In the past the major Networks we broadcast on channels 2-13 (VHF). Today about 75% of the Network programming is now done on channels 14-52 (UHF). Even if you see 3.1 on your TV, the actual broadcast channel would be most anything from actually being on channel 3 to being on something like channel 46. You can go to www.tvfool.com and enter your zip code. It will show the channels you should receive and their actual broadcast frequencies. I suspect that you will find that most are now on the UHF frequencies and you will gain the most benefit by adding the Winegard Wingman to your antenna and then pointing the antenna so the Wingman points as directly as possible toward the broadcast tower(s).
This assumes that you have the amplified version of the Batwing antenna as would be found in most RV's.
