Omni Ceptor not picking up channels

Postby terry0711 » Wed Jul 13, 2011 9:20 am

I have an older unit Omni Ceptor manufacture date I believe is 1988
It worked great until the conversion, but we just went to use it this week and no channels. We have all Digital TVs.
Is this unit just to old to receive the digital signals? I hate to throw it away.

As long as your older Omni Ceptor antenna is working it should receive digital signals. Using a volt meter check to see that you have either +12VDC from your RV going into the antenna head or 18 VAC from your PS-7070 or PS-9370 power supplies. The outside of the F connector is your – point and the center conductor (wire) is your + point. Make sure that you do a channel scan on your TV set every time you move your antenna because the TV set has to reset itself to the signal levels for that location.
