Universal Remote? Box Remote Unresponsive

We have a RCDT09A Box and the remote is dead..( changed batteries numerous times)
Purchased an RCA Universal Remote that does work with Digital Converter Boxes BUT don't have a code to set it up with. If I had a manufacturer that might help so the million $$ question is does Winegard Make their own boxes or are they made for them by X company? Does anyone have a code that might work?
We use this box in our RV so the 12V adapter is a necessity.

The code I have is 52454, but it still doesn't work with my RCA Universal Remote (walmart/$7.98)
