Lost signal Overnight on 3 stations using MS-2000

Postby incognito2u » Fri Apr 30, 2010 10:32 am

About a month ago, I purchased a MS-2000 Omnidirectional Antenna and am very happy with the product. One day last week, I lost 3 over-the-air stations that I was originally receiving at over 95% signal level (Digital Channel 7, 11 and 13). When I try to view those channels, I get an message on my TV's signal strength meter of 0% signal level. I tried re-scanning my TV, I tried unplugging the power injector and rescanning, all with no resolution of my problem. I still am able to receive Channel 2,4,5,9,21,25,31,41,47,51 and 63. How should I approach this issue?
I Live in zip code 11565, my antenna is mounted on my Chimney approx 35 feet off the ground and nothing was changed since the antenna was originally installed.

It sounds as though for some reason your antenna has lost VHF side of the amplifier board built into the antenna head. Email a copy of your receipt to warranty @winegard.com and they will issue you an RMA number to use to return the MS-2000 under. Winegard will repair or replace the antenna to you at no charge under the normal 90 day warranty.

I will most certainly do so....I also noticed that the missing channels all broadcast in the VHF-hi band,
