AP-8700 Questions.

Postby BobHelms » Sun Feb 28, 2010 2:39 am

I may need to install an AP-8700. The RG6 cable I will use between the antenna and the TV currently has an inline grounding block installed. Will this cause any problems when powering the AP-8700. If the AP-8700 power injector is protected from the elements can it be mounted outdoors? Since it appears to have a ground wire terminal can the power injector replace the grounding block? TIA for any answers provided.

Good morning Bob -

I apologize for the late response. My main off-air guy is out of town this week. Here is the response from technical services.

The grounding block will not cause any problems. It will pass the 12v from the power supply.
