The instructions that came with the HDP269 Preamp I bought don't mention how to install the power injector in relation to the ground block that the TV is connected to. Since the ground block eliminates potential static electricity generated by the TV I figured connecting the power injector jack marked "TV" to the ground block made the most sense. Is that correct?
Does the preamp create any static electricity?

Good morning Jellyby -
Here is the response back from technical services...
The proper way to hook up your antenna system i2 install the ground block between the antenna and the power injector connector marked ANT. The DC voltage from the power injector travels on the center conductor so installing the ground block after the power injector makes no difference. By installing the ground block ahead of the power injector you drain of any static voltage that is on the shield of the cable before it can reach any equipment.
