Properly Grounding Antenna Mast

Postby Jellyby » Sat Oct 10, 2009 9:09 pm

What is the best way to attach a ground wire to the base of a tv antenna mast? The mast is 1 1/4" diameter by 5 ft. tall, tripod roof mount.

I installed an 8 ft. ground rod and I'm using 8 AWG copper strand ground wire which is too thick to bend around anything small like a screw. Someone suggested using a stainless steel radiator hose clamp to clamp it to the mast. Thanks.
