Need Tech Assistance with Winegard MS2002 MetrostarThe antenna was working properly when was first installed. After a big raining the antenna stops sending the signal. I'm not sure if any of the amplifier was damaged by the storm. Any advice? Thanks....

It is possible that during the storm the amplifier could have been damaged. Using a volt meter you can check to see if the power supply is sending the proper voltage up to the antenna. Disconnect the cable from the bottom of the antenna and use the volt meter to see if you have +15.0 VDC at the end of the cable. The center conductor of the cable is your + point and the outside of the connector is you – point. If you have the +15.0 VDC at the end of the cable then the amplifier in the antenna is defective. If you do not have the +15.0 VDC then attach the cable back on to the antenna and go to the power injector and disconnect the cable from the power injector at the connector marked ANT. Place a paper clip in the connector marked ANT and check to see that you have the +15.0 VDC leaving the power injector. If you do not have the +15.0 VDC at this point then the power injector or wall transformer is defective. You can also view our video on how to troubleshoot a power supply here.
