FV-HD30 Works one 22" but not 55" TVI have 2 HDTV's. One 22" and the other 55". Installed the FV-HD30 on the roof of a single story home. The 22" TV picks up a lot of channels, however the 55" picks up only 3 (Only1 HD) channels when connected to the same hook-up. Is the direct signal strength not good enough for a 55" TV? The TV model is 55WX800U, Toshiba 55" 3D TV. Is there a need to amplify?
Any advise would be appreciated.... Was considering changing the angle, how ever not sure since it works on one of the TV's
Re: FV-HD30 Works one 22" but not 55" TVA good 2 way splitter will reduce your TV by at least 30% when splitting the TV signal to 2 TV sets. Start by going directly from the antenna to the 55” TV set without the splitter in the line to see what kind of reception you have. This test will give you the strongest signal from the antenna. Then add the 2 way splitter to see what the splitter loss does to your reception. If the signal is reduced enough to notice some of the channels are reduced or lost then you can install a Winegard HDA-100 before the splitter to build up the signal so you can overcome the splitter loss and preserve the good signals you have.
Re: FV-HD30 Works one 22" but not 55" TV55" picks up only 3 (Only1 HD) channels when connected directly with out a splinter. Tested with and with out the slitter, same result.
Thanks, Raja I
