GS22XX with no power supply?

Postby MPosner » Thu May 17, 2012 10:52 pm

I purchased ths antenna a few years ago, nearly forgot about it in the basement, finally had my handy buddy install it high under the eaves on my house. It pulls in all the UHF channels I expect at 60-70 strength (I'm 31 miles from the source), but the one VHF channel I should be getting, I'm not.

I've noticed that the instructions call this a Sensar GS22VRD, GS22NPS, VM22NPS amplified antenna. But, it didn't come with anything to plug into the wall.

Is it right for me to think that if I get the proper power injector, perhaps the signal will improve and I'll get the VHF channel? If so, which part do I need? Will the PS-1403 do the trick?

Thanks.

Good morning MPosner,

The GS22VRD, GS22NPS, and VM22NPS antennas were powered by a satellite receiver and the did not have a 120 volt power supply. Yes the PS-1403 is the proper power supply to use with the GS-22XX antenna. Once your antenna is powered up your reception should improve.
