Need replacement amp. for Radio Shack 15-1634 ant.

I have a Radio Shack mod. 15-1634 amplified antenna with a missing amplifier. It looks identical to a Winegard antenna. The amp is not available from Radio Shack. The amp is rated as 12 vdc. I was wondering if Winegard could have possibly made the ant. for Radio Shack and if one of their amps would replace my missing one?

What I failed to mention is, that according to the Radio Shack manual, the antenna requires the 12 vdc power supply AND a small unit that the power supply connects to. They call it a "Power Injector." Both units are connected at the TV end of the coax going to the antenna head. I guess, what I need is the "Power Injector." Obtaining a 12vdc supply is no problem. Sorry I miss led you.

Good morning davidebby -

What you are missing is the +12.0VDC power supply itself, and the amplifier since the amplifier is built into the antenna head. The Winegard PS-1403 power supply should work for you even though it sends +14.3 VDC up the coax cable instead of the +12.0VDC. They should have a regulator built into the antenna that will reduce the +14.3 VDC to the proper level.
