mini versus regular coaxial cables?

Postby moseleyb » Mon May 25, 2009 6:47 am

Hi this may be a really dumb question but I just bought an ss3000 and I just realized that the cables are not all regular coax. Some are mini coax. I have run regular coax cable behind my cabinets for the antenna. Will I just need an adapter or is this a real problem? :?

Good morning moseleyb-

The mini coax cable can be attached to regular coax cable with the use of a cable coupler such as the Winegard FS-8100. There is no problem inter mixing these cables.
