SS3000 - New power supply?

I recently purchased a SS-3000 that worked great for over a month. Recently however, I lost all of my channels. I think this is due to a series of electrical spikes that may have burned out the power supply. The light on the aluminum piece linking the two regular coax cables and mini coax cable does turn on, but does not shine as bright as it used to.

The question is whether I can just replace the power supply, or do I need a whole new antenna? Any thoughts?

You can order a PS-1403 replacement power supply only and do not need to replace the antenna. To make sure you power supply is defective please visit http://www.winegard.com/videos/index.php and scroll down to "Troubleshooting a Winegard Power Supply". As long as you have between +12.0 VDC to +16.0 VDC going to the antenna from the power injector ANT connections you will be okay.

The PI-1000VR that came with my SS3000 is labeled with 18VDC & 300mA. The AC/DC adapter that came with it is rated at 22VDC 400mA. You say that as long as I get an adapter between 12VDC - 16VDC it will be ok but what about the amperage?

The PI-1000VR has a voltage regulator in that controls the output voltage to the antenna +18.0 VDC at 300mA. The antenna will work in a range of +12.0-+16.0 VDC at 150 mA.
