Antenna selection for 94568

Hello to All

I am looking to install a new DTV antenna on my roof in the east bay of San Francisco (City of Dublin) California. The specific staion area in question is the Sutro tower in SF about 30 miles away. They have all the national stations. Any suggetsion on type of antenna etc ??

I am prepared to do all the wiring and mounting myself and install a rotator to get the best reception in this area. Any help would be greatly appreciated in selecteing the best antenna. I would like to get FM stations also. Time to get rid of Comcast !!

Good morning jaybee,

According to the www.tvfool.com web site using zip code 94568 you have some TV station that are weak and 2-Edge signal which means that you do not have a line of sight signal from those stations. There are a couple of antenna systems Winegard can offer you.

The best system would be the HD7697P TV antenna along with an HDP-269 preamplifier for TV and a separate HD6055P FM only antenna. These two antennas need to be at least 4 feet apart vertical The other antenna system would be the HD7084P TV antenna used for both TV signals and the FM signal. The HD7084P TV antenna will not give you as strong of a FM signal as the separate HD6055P FM antenna.
