DTV converter box hook upI need some help hooking up the dtv converter box to my winegard entertainment select VS-0503/VS-5312 on my 05 coachman Mirada so I can use all functions I have for front and rear tv's as before. The converter boxes are RCA DTA 800. What do I do? This is what I've done so far, I put tv ant, into ant in in the coverter box. I put out tv from box to vcr in in back of winegard. I turn the DTV boxes on on both tv's and it worked perfect and I can watch different chanells on both tv's at the same time, but I turn the DVD on and turn DTV box off and I can only watch DVD on the front tv and ota tv on the back tv. I turn the back DTV box off and cannot watch a DVD on the back tv no matter what button I push on the winegard. The DVD only plays on the front tv. I don't know if cable will work on this yet because I have no cable hook up at home. Can you help me?
Re: DTV converter box hook upGood morning gjl -
I would recommend viewing this wiring diagram as an example... http://www.winegard.com/kbase/upload/WF-725%20Sat%20OTA%20wiring%20diagram.pdf This diagram has a satellite hookup instead of a DVD player, but if you substitute the satellite receiver for a DVD player you should be good to go.
