Single-Channel Yagis for VHF-HI

Postby roger1818 » Tue Feb 16, 2010 1:41 pm

There are no longer any consumer grade single-channel yagis available in North America, but now that many stations in the USA have reverted to their VHF-HI channels, the need for one to pick up a single distant VHF-HI station is greater than ever. As you know, the advantage of a single channel yagi over a broadband yagi (such as the YA-1713) is an increased gain for the target channel with a smaller antenna.

Has Winegard considered making a line of consumer grade single channel yagis for VHF-HI?

Good morning roger1818 -

Winegard Company continually monitors the market viability of products such as a single channel yagi. Their are no current plans at this time for that product but your comments have been noted.

Thank you.
